Summary of position

The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting products produced by our Cartons and Labels division, identifying product defects in process and at final inspection and releasing products accordingly for shipment to the client.

Here are some of the different activities you’ll be asked to do:

• Sample and inspect all orders according to Jones Quality Assurance System
• Perform first and last press sheet inspections using a vision system
• Perform final inspection according to Standard Operating Procedure
• Release acceptable product for shipping
• Identify tag non-conforming material and isolate in the hold/quarantine area until released by a signing authority
• Log Continuous Improvement Reports (non-conformance reports) as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure
• Retain and file with the quality assurance inspection report samples of all rejected product

If you’ve got:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Quality Inspector or equivalent quality–related role
