Project Engineering Sales Drafter

Position Summary

Primary function is to use analytical and drafting skills to produce system layout drawings for Municipal customers.

Accountabilities

• Produce 2D and 3D system layout drawings including mechanical, electrical/controls interconnects and hydraulic information
• Evaluates drawings for accuracy with customer requirements and compliance with drawings standards
• Maintains existing AutoCAD blocks and models as required
• Maintains standard drawings, tracking and implementing changes as required
• Completes data entry into spreadsheets to track and manage active drawing requests
• Drives continuous process improvement to better meet customer needs
• Communicates effectively with internal and external customers as required to clarify requirements and to ensure customer requirements are met (Sales, Project Engineers, Product Engineers)
• Supports completion of other project deliverables as required
• Accurate Drawings completed within requested deadlines
• Volume of produced drawings (the expected volume will be measured using target lead times based on drawing complexity)

Qualifications:

Qualifications required: 

• Graduate from Architecture Technology or Civil Technology program or equivalent skills and experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong AutoCAD & Revit skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
