    We are hiring a Marketing Coordinator based out of one of our Mississauga or St. Thomas, ON office locations.

     

    This role has a flexible hybrid work environment, with both remote and in office work arrangements possible.

     

    As a Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development, evaluation and execution of annual marketing plans for the assigned brands within the Fashion Plumbing Category, including commercialization of new launches and on-going channel and brand building initiatives and programs.

    This role involves close collaboration with Product Management and Sales Teams, as well as Marketing Communication, Digital Experience, Market Research and Ecommerce Marketing functions. The Marketing Manager owns all channel marketing/brand building objectives and strategies and oversees successful execution of annual marketing plans for the assigned brands. A Marketing Coordinator will report directly to this position.

     

    What You Will Do:

    • Lead the development and execution of the marketing plan for the assigned brands, including channel plans, sales materials (brochures, price lists, sales decks), merchandising and brand building plans

    • Lead, develop and coach one/two direct reports

    • Align commercialization processes, drive priorities and initiatives across assigned brand function to create seamless execution

    • Ensure all brand building initiatives are consistent with agree upon objectives and priorities

    • Collaborate with and ensure effectiveness of working relationship with cross-functional partners to ensure that go-to-market strategy is being followed and executed

    • Work with Product Management, Ecommerce, Digital and Sales teams on the commercialization of innovation and ensure channels have all the tools required

    • Ensure successful presentation of marketing plans, business reviews and briefs to cross-functional teams and/or senior leadership team / external customers

    • Connect and have regular updates with the US counterparts (Channel and Brand Marketing)

    • Lead and own agency partners relationship for the Fashion Plumbing category

    • Manage and track marketing budget investment

     

    Product and Department Knowledge

    • Build a high level of product knowledge on all product lines within the Fashion Plumbing Category

    • Build and maintain a high level of current marketing practices

    • Impart product knowledge and data on a regular basis to internal and external customers

    • Maintain and update a well-organized independent workstation and assist in maintaining all Marketing materials (displays and literature) within the corporate network

    • Build on working knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite of products and relevant web-based tools and programming languages

     

    Who You Are:

    • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience with B2B, CPG or Home Improvement Industry

    • 1+ years of leading direct reports

    • Experience in leading commercialization process

    • Solid strategic and execution skills

    • Experience with retail, trade and ecommerce channels

    • Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with our customers

    • Outstanding project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

    • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environments and be able to prioritize multiple, often competing priorities

    • Proficient Microsoft suite of products

    • Bachelor degree in Marketing or Business

    • French language skills an asset
