About the Lean DBS Leader role: A Danaher Business System Leader (DBSL) is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Danaher companies, allowing those sites to meet their Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
Drive targeted improvement across the Operations team(s) aligned with the objectives in Quality, Delivery, and Cost
Promote diagnosis of process obstacles and provide expert counsel on appropriate DBS tools for gaps in performance and coach as needed
Support thoughtful deployment of DBS tools within Operations
Ensure successful kaizen events within the Operations team(s) by installing and ensuring compliance to the kaizen process, including planning Kaizens with a multifaceted funnel process tied to PD and DM execution and sustainment of Kaizens
Partner with the Operations team(s) to identify gaps in DBS capability and manage the Certified Practitioner funnel for the Operations team(s)
Directly provide formal and informal DBS training and coaching across the Operations team(s)
Drive DBS Fundamentals and culture into the Operations team(s)
Benchmark and incorporate best practices from other Danaher sites and share them with the DBS Officer (DBSO)
Are you qualified?
B.A. or B.S. degree in Management or Engineering or equivalent experience required
5+ years of proven experience in an Operations function
Proficiency in applying lean principles is required
Mastery of a variety of DBS tools, CP in a DBS Fundamental or Lean tool or equivalent strongly desired
25% travel required
