Job Description
Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer in electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling for oil cooled transformers. We are looking for a Production Worker in London, ON.

Working Environment:
This position will be 100% on site at our facility in London, Ontario.
Shifts:
Opportunities available on Days, Afternoons and Weekend Afternoons.
Day shift from 7:00AM to 3:30PM Monday to Friday.
Afternoon shift from 3:30PM to 1:30AM Monday to Thursday.
Weekend Afternoon shift from 3:30PM to 3:30AM Friday to Sunday.

Job Responsibilities:
- Complete sub-assembly of customized kits using various tools and machinery.
- Ensure parts are built to the blueprint specifications.
- Using tape measures and calipers to conduct quality checks.
- Using table saws, drill presses, hand tools, etc., to assist in making parts for customers.
- Assemble parts together using glue and other adhesives.
- Assist with packaging goods to be shipped.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Adhere to the health and safety guidelines.
- Work fluidly with other departments to ensure products are shipped out on time.
- Additional duties as assigned within your department.
Qualified Candidates will have:
- 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a woodworking environment.
- Ability to work in a team setting and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Great attendance is a critical requirement.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings.
- Basic Math skills – ability to measure and calculate.
- The ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job specific requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
