Database Administrator

Join a dynamic IT team in a rapidly growing North America firm! The Business Applications Support Specialist will configure, install, and maintain company applications both on premise and in cloud. The ideal candidate will enjoy variety in their work and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

What Would a Typical Day Look Like?

  • Work with tight knit team to ensure that JMP’s enterprise systems and business applications are properly maintained, supported and available to all users with minimal downtime
  • Work with end-users across North America to support their application needs
  • Assist in the maintenance and administration of the enterprise systems and business applications including related processes, workflows, integrations, and documentation (SharePoint 365, ERP, CRM)
  • Work in a ticketing system to support end-user requests and issues
  • Assist in onboarding and application integration of company acquisitions
  • Provide input and adhere to the IT business plan providing effective and efficient internal IT processes and systems

 

What Qualifies You for this Opportunity?

  • Understanding of Information Systems and Information Technology, including best practices and extensive overall general IS/IT knowledge
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results
  • Ability to successfully work closely with a team
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple requests and tasks
  • Ability to learn new technologies
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 (Specifically Teams and SharePoint)
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) systems and integration of data
  • Experience with SQL and/or relational databases
  • Experience with reports and reporting systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills related to application issues, processes, and workflows
  • Ability to create technical documentation
  • Knowledge of Salesforce an asset
  • Azure SQL, Power Automate experience an asset
  • Microsoft certifications an asset
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a related discipline is required
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience is required
  • An ability to travel; although this position is based out of London and there is an anticipated 5-10% travel within North America.
