Paint Prepper
Location: Canada

As Paint Prepper you are part of the Paint Shop Department. You are responsible for preparing aircraft parts for painting and polishing.
Responsibilities:
> Wash aircraft parts for pre-prep, primer, and paint
> Inspect and repair parts as required
> Sand and fill parts for primer and paint
> Mask parts for primer and paint
> Detail aircraft
> Apply logos and stripes as required
> Perform all work in accordance with Health and Safety policies
> Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Experience:
> Composite experience considered an asset
> Auto body experience preferred
> Drywall mudding and taping experience considered an asset
> Ability to use departmental tools and supplies, such as: putty, tape, and sanders
> Excellent attention to detail
> Ability to follow safety rules
> Proven ability to work as a team member
> Willingness to learn new skills and improve existing skills
> Proven ability to manage time efficiently
> Proven ability to satisfy quality requirements
Educational or Academic Requirements:
> High School diploma or equivalent
