Your Future:

• Responsible for the electrical maintenance of the plant infrastructure and process equipment.
• Supporting mechanical maintenance is also considered part of your job.
• You will be trained in order to optimize your knowledge of our automated custom built machines.
• You will be trained and responsible for maintaining HACCP standards.
• You will be involved in the development of reliability strategies and preventative maintenance programs.
• You will build, install, breakdown and maintain equipment as needed.
• You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• You will be a key member of the maintenance team that will contribute to the success of Dr. Oetker.
• You will be part of the team that produces highest quality Dr. Oetker products. Food safety and security is of the utmost importance for Dr. Oetker and for you.
• Consistently follow all Dr. Oetker Health & Safety and Food Safety & Security policies and procedures.

Your Qualifications:

• You will be an interprovincial licensed Industrial Electrician (442A or 309D)
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in the capacity of industrial electrician preferably in the food or pharmaceutical industry.
• You have experience with PLC, robotic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems (preferred Siemens S7).
• You will have good knowledge of panel installation and HVAC systems.
• A TSSA Refrigeration B operator certification would be an asset.
• TSSA Refrigeration B operator certification (training and education) would be supported financially for the right candidate. (This additional certification also includes a $3/hour wage increase)
• Physical essential abilities are handling heavy loads (up to 25 KG), manual dexterity, attention to detail, good hand-eye co-ordination, and bending, twisting, and lifting abilities.
• You can stand for long periods of time and are able to work in extreme conditions with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling.
• You have your own transportation, as public transportation is not available.
• You will not allowed to wear piercings, jewelry, nail polish, fake eyelashes, fake Fingernails etc. in production area.
• Must be able to touch and work with pork, chicken, beef and dairy products.
• You are able to work day and night shifts. You are able to work rotating 12 hour shifts on four week cycles.
