Purchasing Coordinator

Job Description
Come build the future with us! We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator who will maintain the purchase parts parameters in JDE, manage quotes and maintain quote log, supplier metrics, manage all purchasing activities of assigned suppliers.
What you will bring:

- 3-5 years of experience in a Purchasing, Production Planning, or Inventory Control position
- Experienced in negotiations an asset
- The ability to analyze products and vendors from a strategic and tactical perspective an asset
- Must be well acquainted with sound sourcing practices and spend awareness
- Experienced in using root cause analysis methods (A3, 8D)
- Demonstrated excellence in analysis and decision-making
- Above average computer skills (Office – Excel, Word, Outlook)
- APICS or PMAC Courses, Certification an asset
- Experience using JD Edwards and Smarsheet, an asset

What you will do:

- Parameter maintenance on purchased items
- Monthly missing parameter review
- Purchasing parameter quarterly review
- Set up all new purchase parts
- Set up or discontinue parts from engineering changes or product discontinuations
- Costing updates
- ASN error report review and correction
- Monthly metrics report, including supplier fill rates
- Month end in-transit report
- Managing Requests for Quotations (RFQ) log and creating landed costing reports
- Coordinating suppliers’ responses for conflict minerals, restricted chemicals, material certifications and supplier quality guides
- Buyer for assigned vendors
- Place expense orders for Marketing
