Job Description:
3M is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist for its Oral Care team located in London, ON. The successful candidate will make an impact by leading, developing, and supporting marketing campaigns aligned to defined spend targets to drive demand and qualified leads for 3M Oral Care orthodontic products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Define, create, execute and optimize external United States and Canada (USAC) strategic marketing and channel communication, media and PR plans that align to marketing objectives for assigned segments in alignment with defined spend
- Understands competitor communication strategies, tactics and messaging and applies findings to communications plan/marketing mix as appropriate
- Develops tradeshow demand generation strategy, messaging and content execution
- Coaches content creation that aligns to the 3M brand, tone and identity strategy for customer journey and persona-based communication
- Lead, develop, support and monitor marketing campaigns aligned to defined spend targets to drive demand and qualified leads for 3M Oral Care orthodontic products
To set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, or Mass Communication
- Four (4) years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Corporate Communications, Branding and/or Advertising in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- 6-9 years of Marketing Communications, Corporate or Business Communications experience is preferred with ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong writing, project management, collaboration, interpersonal and communications skills
- Ability to translate technical language and strategic marketing plans into storytelling communication in addition to executing a detailed Marketing Communication Plan
- Customer/client-centric mindset combined with contagious enthusiasm and passion
Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 5% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver’s license is required.
Relocation: Not authorized. Remote will be considered.
