309A or 442A Electrician

Givens Machine Systems is currently accepting applications for a 309A or a 442A Electrician. The work includes wiring industrial controls as well as carrying out general electrical maintenance in our facility and on our manufacturing equipment. New circuits are routinely added to our buildings and the responsibility of installing them would fall to this new candidate. The ability to program PLC's and Robots would also be valued. Our products range from industrial cranes & manipulators, to custom machinery. In addition to electrical work, the candidate must be willing to work with pneumatic, hydraulic & mechanical projects. There are also ongoing R&D projects that require electrical expertise.

We are looking for someone, ideally, with three or more years of experience. You would be working alongside three other electricians of varying experience, but usually working independently from one another.

Health and Dental Benefits package is available after 3 months; a pension plan begins after 1 year.

Work is usually straight days with weekends off, but weekend work and overtime occur from time to time. Because our workload varies constantly, overloads are handled with overtime.
