Exciting Job Opportunity: Experienced Machine Operator Needed!
THIS POSITION REQUIRES ROTATING SHIFTS - DAYS, AFTERNOONS AND NIGHTS
Are you ready for an exciting new challenge? We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Machine Operator to join our vibrant Operations team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess experience with HDPE production, we want to hear from you!
As a Machine Operator you will play a crucial role in our daily operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating machines to produce quality product that meets Company Specifications.
- Assist with machine die changes as required for production.
- Perform daily inspections and service machine as per Company service guidelines.
- Maintains machine in a clean condition and performs routine maintenance.
- Maintains a clean, uncluttered and safe work area as designated.
- Performs preventative maintenance and inspection of equipment as directed.
- Determines and corrects complex machine malfunctions.
- Assists with training other machine operators and material handlers.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent mature student diploma with good skills in reading, writing and math.
- 3-5 years experience in plastic manufacturing environment, an asset - HDPE extrusion preferred.
Abilities and Skills:
- Mechanically inclined.
- Must be a team player willing to take direction and suggest efficiencies.
- Ability to safely operate power equipment.
- Ability to understand metric and imperial measurements.
- Positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members.
