Recruiter & HR Administrator

As Clinical Research Dental (CRD) continues to grow and thrive with great plans unfolding, 
we have an opportunity to grow the HR team and thus to this opportunity. If you have a 
min. of 2-3 years progressive recruitment experience and love this area of specialty, then 
our team and Managers can’t wait to meet you !

This role also requires someone with a min. of 1-2 years in HR and Benefits Administrator.

This opportunity is also ideal for someone seeking to broaden, develop and prove their HR 
potential to a “full generalist” in due time, and where in partnership with the HR Manager 
they will try to expose you to greater over time. 

This role reports to the HR Manager.

Recruitment 60-70%

Spearhead and support hiring managers throughout the entire process of recruitment and 
selection activities. Including:
  • Support Job Description and Advertisement drafting and development
  • Use detailed screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates.
  • Short list candidates via effective interview screenings (via phone, zoom, teams or alike)
  • Support Interview Guide Development
  • Use various and appropriate forums for position exposure including most social media platforms, resources, and outlets.
  • Network opportunities through various means, such as career fairs, local community career networks/groups, and professional associations to identify referrals for qualified candidates.
  • Seek passive candidates through various means (e.g. Linked-in)
  • Stay current with best practices and trends in talent acquisition methodologies
  • Be accountable for prudent applicant tracking, and great follow through with candidate care.
  • Support Candidate Pre-Assessments (DISC).
  • Support HR Manager with facilitating and strengthening the Onboarding program,training/onboarding schedule and other similar needs.

HR & Benefits Administration (20-30%)
  • Responsible for Human Resources administration, including but not limited to:
  • Preparing first draft of basic offer letters;
  • Ensuring completion and record keeping of all employee documents from inception and throughout the employees’ lifecycle (e.g. resumes, reference checks, offer letters, benefits forms, performance management documents, various leaves information, etc.)
  • Book meetings and schedule HR/Training and such events
  • Respond to basic inquiries on HR & Recruitment (e.g. HR policy or procedural understanding, providing banking / employment letters, providing various status updates, etc.)
  • Responsible for Benefits Administration, including but not limited to:
  • Communicating and working with providers over three benefit portfolios 
  • Completion of new hires benefits forms, data entry into benefits systems, and follow up to ensure all enrollments are done accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a follow up system to ensure employee eligibility for various benefits or tenure increases are managed.
  • Respond and follow through on benefits inquiries, gaps or concerns.

Other
Support the Wellness Committee, and the JH&S Committee
Work with HR Manager where time provide to support projects for new learning and team 
support
Other assigned duties as required in partnership with the HR manager.

Qualifications:
  • HR Diploma, and ideally working towards or having achieved your CHRP designation.
  • Progressive Recruitment experience (min. 2-3 years)
  • Strong Administration skills:
  • Computer / Technically strong (Microsoft suite)
  • Communications (strong written and verbal)
  • Detail-Oriented 
  • Strong organizational and time management
  • Proactive / Self Starter
  • Enthusiastic with a can do attitude !

Approx. Range – ($ 62 - $ 70) this would depend on the market and what candidate we feel is 
right based then on the experience/value they bring immediately to us, as well as their long 
term potential to entice and keep them, not just train them up to leave)
