Job Description
Afternoon Shift Production Team Member
Caledon Tubing Production Team Member, St. Marys, Ontario
- Starting rate is $21.40
- Shift Premium
- Monthly Attendance Bonus $200/month
- Yearly Attendance Bonus

- Staff appreciation meals (minimum 6/year) includes BBQ's, Food truck on site, taco/burrito buffet, etc.
Primary Responsibility:
- To operate all equipment as per Work Instructions safely and responsibly
Tasks:
- Inspect tubing for quality and defects
- Assist Coating Technician as required
- Maintain regular, good throughput
- Complete paperwork completely and accurately
- Operate coiler and tube cutting equipment
- Package as per Final Packaging Matrix
- Inform Team Leader and Quality Control if parts are nonconforming
- Weigh scrap and record scrap data
- Operate all equipment safely and responsibly
- Operate all equipment as per Work Instructions
- Understanding of reactions needed to the process for out of control parameters
- Understanding the effects of non-conforming product and how to react to ensure that these parts are not shipped to the customer
- Housekeeping
- Perform daily Crane inspections and record
- Ensure compliance to IATF 16949
- All other duties as requested by Team Leader
Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED
Skills:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent verbal/written English skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
- Good computer skills
- Ability to troubleshoot
Experience or Knowledge:
- One year experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in Automotive
- Knowledge of Quality standards - ISO-9001/IATF 16949

- Working in compliance with the provisions of the OHSA, regulations and internal policies and procedures.
