Position Description:

Key Job Elements:

• Lead Optimized Weapon System Support (OWSS) Program supply support performance and reporting requirements
• Oversee OWSS Performance Exceptions List (OPEL) & Quality Escape Issues (QEI) Interface and respond directly to Canadian Government inquiries regarding Repair & Overhaul, Spares Quoting and Spares Delivery; including, support to customer working group meetings
• Provide leadership, supervisory and administrative support to OWSS Program Office supply support team
• Interface with internal GDLS-C departments to ensure performance based agreement (PBA) goals are achieved
• Support development of program performance metrics
• Lead supply support team and champion program related special projects
• Communicate frequently with Canadian customer (Government) personnel to ensure mutual understanding of customer needs

Position Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Business or Finance
• Minimum 2 years Project Management or other relevant experience
• Advanced skill level in MS Office applications; including, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to travel (5% Cdn) and (5% US & lnt'I) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous knowledge of Canadian defence contracting
• Previous supervisory experience
• Program management experience with a PMP certification
• Bilingual in English and French
