Marketing Manager

In this position the Marketing Manager will support both Airia and Zehnder America ventilation products. We are seeking a highly self-driven, motivated Marketing Manager that will be responsible for managing the direction of the marketing activities and strategy, implement the annual marketing plan, execution of external facing communications, design marketing programs and promote the organization and its products. This position is located onsite at Airia in London, ON.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Driving innovation and staying ahead of industry trends within marketing strategies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate extensively within the sales team and across departments to ensure a unified approach.
  • Develop and execute brand strategy and e-strategy.
  • Discuss and define market needs with sales, analyze market trends, understand customer behavior and chal-lenges, and translate into corresponding marketing communication focus.
  • Effectively developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with values and business objectives.
  • Manages the marketing budget and contributes information and makes recommendations regarding budget priorities and expenditures, cost control measures.
  • Develops and executes a variety of corporate communications resources and public relations efforts such as writing news releases, media relations materials, presentations, and internal communications.
  • Manages and responsible for product launches.
  • Updating senior leadership on the progress of marketing activities and reporting on the results of campaigns.
  • Manages the planning and implementation of special events, trade show, seminars.
  • Ensure consistency of marketing graphics and quality (layout, editing, style, appearance).
  • Keeping abreast of the latest market conditions.
  • Create and manage content for the company’s social media, emails, and website, other forms of digital com-munication.
  • Analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure.
  • Some travel as determined by demand, supports business in Canada and US.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communication, or similar relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years related experience in corporate communications, public relations including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
  • HVAC and ERV/HRV and technical experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing marketing communication strategies.
  • Organizational skills to assist in the planning and developing of marketing programs.
  • Ability to manage and motivate teams.
  • Leadership capacity.
  • Team-player with innovative, analytic, and solution-oriented way of working.
  • High degree of success and goal orientation.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and action, high implementation and result orientation.
  • Strong marketing and customer orientation.
  • High computer skills (Email; MS Office Applications-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, digital tools (Apps, Social Media, Adobe, Access).
  • Superior accuracy and proficiency.

  • Constant attention to detail often competing demands.
