• Project Management within Customer Sustainment Services (CSS) manages projects including bidding, planning, monitoring execution, risk management, and project closeout
• Lead proposals through the CSS organization and participate in customer negotiations
• Develop and actively manage project schedules using various tools based on variable workflow in CSTC
• Monitor and track performance to budget and schedule using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) for all CSS Elements, initiate Baseline Change Request (BCR) and schedule adjustments as necessary
• Lead progress meetings with internal CSS teams, coordinating resolution and follow up on technical or programmatic issues
• Project Manage multiple projects and priorities across more than one contract/Customer
  Lead the creation and submission of CSS Contract Deliverables to ensure they are provided on time and in compliance with contractual requirements
• Provide technical support and advice as a subject matter expert with respect to both assembly and weld activity
• Provide direct and indirect support to various internal Integrated Program Teams and Production Launch Teams
• Direct interface with internal and external customers to determine requirements, communicate progress, and resolve various technical and programmatic issues
• Assist in the investigation, analysis and recommendation of corrective actions to address program/project issues
• Develop and deliver regular and ad hoc presentations to Customers, Program Administration, CSS leadership, and senior leadership on project updates and bid reviews
• Provide input and advise on yearly CSS Op Planning and monthly CE forecasting cycles
• Assume coverage for Associate Program Manager, as required

• University degree or College diploma
• Minimum 3 to 5 years Program or Project Management experience, ideally in a defence contract or military support environment
• Experience working with teams and/or customers
• Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
• Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
• Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined workspace

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Working knowledge of Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) Systems and Support/Sustainment of LAV Systems
• Basic knowledge of Earned Value Management
