What you’ll be doing
- Develop workforce planning strategies to achieve organizational goals and audit to ensure efficacy
- Analyze mid and long-term forecasted staffing conditions
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to clarify staffing goals and recommend solutions
- Lead annual vacation planning and support team members
- Develop solutions while considering the impact of decisions for the larger department and/or TMMC
- Manage internal and external vendors relationships
- Identify and recommend system and process improvements
- Monitor Workforce Planning group daily reporting and analysis
- Increase human resources data integrity through continuous improvement and standardization
What you'll bring
- Post Secondary education in Business or Human Resources or related field is required
- CHRP would be an asset
- Demonstrated ability to develop strategic workforce planning solutions that align with organizational goals
- Excellent critical thinking with high accuracy and attention to detail is critical
- Experienced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI are required, with knowledge of Power Query and Power Pivot
- Excellent systems and process capability – identify and lead improvement projects
- Demonstrated ability for problem-solving identification and recommending solutions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independently
- Demonstrated time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills to meet specific deadlines
- Willing to support daily and weekend overtime requirements as needed
- Possible travel within North America as well as Overseas (less than 5% per year)
- Must be flexible to work in Cambridge and/or Woodstock plant locations
