POSITION OVERVIEW

Under the direction of the Supply Chain Planning Manger – Canada, the Supply Chain Analyst II – Supply supports the NA Supply Planning organization. The analyst role will be responsible for data extraction and analysis, will provide in-depth analysis of supply chain relationships and pursue opportunities to deliver service objectives while achieving lowest delivered cost. This position works cross functionally to assist in leveraging improvements in supply chain efficiency and service. The Supply Chain Analyst II is also responsible for the development, planning and implementation of the supply plan to meet finished good demand at optimized total delivered cost with third party entities (includes component deployment to co-packers and finished products returning from co-packers and other internal production sites).

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Performs and coordinates activities to ensure customer service fulfillment levels are met, including movement of component materials to copackers and finished products returning from copackers.

2.  Extraction and review of the Finished Good time supply reports and Days on Hand. Includes running reports in SAP, development of action steps cross functionally (with copackers and internal sites) to meet service objectives.

3. Data extraction and analysis supporting the Supply Planning – Canada team. Provides insights and recommendations, compiles presentations with respect to materials that are co-packed or sourced from other internal production sites.

4. Daily management and problem-solving of supply and inventory plan variances, including unexpected demand, to ensure appropriate communication and actions with internal production sites and copackers/repackers, customer service, sales planning, marketing and internal supply chain operations and leadership.

5. Execute projects, sku transition management and action plans.

6. Recommends material dispositions and assists in root cause analysis as required

7. Ongoing maintenance of supply planning data and supports initial SCM data set up for new items and correction of data (MOQs, planned delivery times etc. for co-packed materials)

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Plant Planning/Scheduling, Procurement, Master Data, Operations, Customer Service, or related field.
  • Knowledge of customer service, inventory and cost metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate complex situations and make sound judgments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment, handling multiple tasks, including the appropriate prioritization of tasks.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional group.
  • Ability to travel to suppliers on as needed basis.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point and Word.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA
  • SAP, APO, and/or BW.
  • MS Access
