  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, manufacturability, and safety.
  • Modify and optimize existing designs to enhance performance, reduce costs, and accommodate evolving project requirements.

Experience:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for automation, tooling, or industrial machinery.
  • Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, develop, and deliver complete design solutions for complex automation systems.
  • Familiarity with robotics, motion control, pneumatics, and other automation technologies is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities with a hands-on, solutions-driven approach.

What we Offer:

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, LTD, and pension plan.
  • Flexible work hours and a collaborative environment focused on innovation and craftsmanship.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic, industry-leading company.
