Indirect Subcontracts Project Lead

Position Description:

KEY JOB ELEMENTS:

• Lead Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) project and related subcontracts
• Lead strategic continuous improvement projects related to logistics, warehousing and / or outside services that integrate management best practices, maximize technology, increase stakeholder value, and reduce cost
• Lead global subcontracts, master agreements and joinders

• Manage the entire lifecycle of the project / subcontract with the objective to ensure 100% operational continuity of service for the internal customer

• Coordinate and develop Logistics and Outside Services strategy for significant bid and proposal activities
• Support global SCM initiatives while sharing best practices, strategies and techniques across all business units
• Ability to interpret and analyze data trends to forecast Customer requirements
• Interface with SCM Leadership and elevate issues for resolution and mitigation
• Assume a leadership role for special assignments (as required)
• Ensure activities are in compliance with all regulatory requirements (ITAR, CGP, EAR, ISO)

Position Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree or College diploma in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience
• Ability to participate on site with M&CS, CSS and local outside Service Providers
• Exceptional communication and organization skills
• Superior interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and collaboration
• Creative and innovative thinker
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• Proficient in MS Office applications
• Ability to travel up to 10% as required and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Oracle aptitude
• Experience leading a Subcontract procurement or similar project
• Six sigma green or black belt
• Project Management Certification (PMP)
• Technical aptitude
• Financial aptitude
