Production Planner/Customer Service Representative

Canduct Industries is looking for a Production Planner/Customer Service Representative to join our growing team!

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the liaison between our customers and production. This role is responsible for ensuring that customer orders are received and processed to meet customer expectations.

What you're responsible for:

  • Manage customer orders – Process purchase orders, create work orders, confirm ship dates
  • Ensure information from customer is complete to process order – drawings, specifications, volume, delivery requirements
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of production process
  • Identify and resolve problems related to customer orders – on time delivery, quality
  • Monitor order status, provide updates to customer
  • Track, communicate and execute any customer-initiated order changes – design, specifications, delivery requirement, etc.
  • Communicate any production questions or concerns to the customer for resolution
  • Maintain and ensure customer satisfaction

To join our team:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings
  • Post-secondary education in engineering, business, or any technical programs is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills with the ability to effectively balance changing priorities.
