Inventory Control Technician

Position Title: Inventory Control Technician
Location: Aylmer, ON
Summary:
The Inventory Control Technician oversees physical and system-based inventory activities. Responsibilities include managing stock, loading/unloading shipments, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring accurate transactions in the ERP/MRP system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain precise stock inventories and perform cycle counts.
- Safely handle loading, unloading, and moving shipments, utilizing equipment when needed.
- Accurately pick and stage materials according to production schedules.
- Prepare shipping documentation and perform daily end-of-shift reconciliations in the ERP system.
- Receive and examine incoming shipments, manage bulk inventory containers, and ensure accurate weights.
- Label and seal packaged products following SOPs.
- Prepare customer orders with attention to detail and within time guidelines.
- Adhere to FIFO and GMP standards.
- Keep the shipping/receiving area and warehouse organized and tidy.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report issues.
- Manage processing of returned production materials.
- Other duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant inventory management in ERP/MRP systems.
- Knowledge of material handling equipment, with preference for a valid forklift license.
- Strong math skills and ability to interpret various documents.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and contribute to company success.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 kg.
- Detail-oriented, cooperative, and problem-solving mindset.
- Flexible work schedule, strong work ethic, and positive team attitude.
