Job Position:  Floater

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday; 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm

 

Overview of the Role

• Operations of Filling Lines

• Operations of the quark separator

• Inline monitoring, tests, samples ext.

• Set up and Cleanup within appropriate time frame of all fillers and quark separator

• Running and Monitoring all relevant CIP’s

• COP tank Process

• Functionality and operations in the Robot room

• Ability to cover vacations or breaks if needed

• Bulk Pail processing

• Other duties as assigned

How you will make contributions that matter:

Responsible for maintaining the quality standards and consistency of the product being packaged and/or produced. They must adhere to all CCP Procedures and have good communication with other employees on the lines, separator operator and lead-hands/supervisors. Maintaining all responsibilities of the positions being covered at any given time. This includes but is not limited to prepping the next sku, all damaged or missing parts are reported and monitored, all product coming off the line is of Saputo Quality for consumers.

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

• Ability to move totes on occasion

• Ability to stay focused and on task

• Time management Skills

• Minor Troubleshooting

• Ability to fill out documents correctly and follow procedures

• Food/Dairy/Manufacturing experience an asset

• Accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills

• Strong hand eye coordination and ability to multi-task

• Team player, but can also work independently

• Ability to work on foot for extended periods of time

• Ability to move between multiple lines and tasks in a day

• Leadership skills, an asset
