What You’ll Do

As the Trade Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in increasing the visibility and success of our brands across various sales channels. You’ll collaborate closely with sales and external partners to develop and execute trade marketing programs that drive engagement and support business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an annual promotional calendar, aligning trade marketing efforts with sales and brand objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of product and program submissions to Liquor Boards and key retail partners.
  • Lead the planning and execution of innovation projects across all owned brand families, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Create and refine sales materials such as sell sheets, POS assets, and promotional tools to support the sales team.
  • Develop and implement trade marketing initiatives, including custom retailer programs, on-premise activations, and seasonal promotions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and execute unique promotional opportunities throughout the year.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of sales tools such as tap handles, glassware, signage, and other brand assets.
  • Support and coordinate local events and activations in collaboration with the Field Marketing Team.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets and optimize spend for maximum impact.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media team to ensure alignment on trade marketing initiatives and in-market activations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, developing a strong understanding of our product portfolio and engaging key stakeholders.
  • Other duties as required.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of experience in trade marketing, ideally within the beverage, alcohol, or CPG industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing and executing trade marketing strategies, including promotional planning, retailer programs, and POS development.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of Liquor Board regulations and promotional guidelines is an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and marketing software.
  • Passion for craft beverages and consumer engagement.
  • Must have access to a vehicle and be willing to travel as needed.

What to Expect

  • Hybrid work model with a mix of in-office and field-based work.
  • Occasional evening and weekend hours for events and activations.
  • Frequent computer and phone use.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and lift up to 20kg as needed.
  • Travel within Ontario to support retail and event initiatives.

Experience:
