YOUR DAILY ROLE

In this job, you will produce healthier and better-quality food for customers and communities. Please note the shift requirements for this position include 12-hour continental rotating shifts including some weekends.

Your mission will be to:

  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment with confidence and tact
  • Help prevent unnecessary breakdowns by inspecting and maintaining all plant machinery on a PM schedule
  • Respond to breakdowns in a timely manner and maintain a close link with production operations to maximize uptime
  • Contribute to a positive employee experience through continuous improvement of the equipment and the business

YOUR PROFILE

You are:

  • Licensed Millwright / Industrial Mechanic (preferred)Apprentices may also be considered

  • Experienced in preventative maintenance, conveying systems, pumps, hydraulics, troubleshooting, welding, the layout of work, electrical knowledge

  • A tactful communicator with a willingness to solve problems using critical thinking skills

  • Committed to a safe work environment that provides a safe product to its customers

  • Willing to share and implement ideas for continuous improvement as part of lean manufacturing initiatives
