Inside Sales Manager

Job Description:

3M is seeking an Inside Sales Manager for its Business Services Operations (BSO) team located in London, Ontario.   The successful candidate will be required to build and maintain a high performing sales team that is able to complete the required quantity and frequency of customer interactions with the necessary sales acumen to meet and exceed the assigned forecast.  The Inside Sales Manager assists in formulating strategy and effectively works with business leaders to align the efforts of inside sales with the field sales force.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide sales coaching and training to ensure your team meets all sales growth and operational targets
• Work with business partners to align and optimize growth strategies
• Assist in formulating and implementing sales plans and sales incentive compensation plans
• Build and maintain operational reports and key performance indicator dashboards
• Create, modify, and maintain applicable reports and dashboards as needed by local and global BSO management and their business partners.
• Collaborate with manager and business partner leaders to determine productivity metrics
• Primary driver of hiring decisions for the team, including interviewing prospective talent, with accountabilities of maintaining an active pipeline of qualified potential employees using social media, internal relationships, and external relationships
• Drive operational excellence through periodic internal and external benchmarking

Basic Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education
• Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in Sales
• Customer centric mindset in all you do

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year Supervisory Experience
• CRM, Sales Training, and Coaching Experience
• Analytical Skills
• Bilingual French an asset

Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 10% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver's licence is required.
