Electrical Engineering – Product Development/Research and Development

Job Description
Audioscan is looking for an electrical Engineer for the role of Hardware Developer to report to the Hardware Development Manager. Main tasks include new product development, research and development of emerging technologies, and ongoing technical support for on-site production.
Specific tasks vary due to the nature of the company and the product portfolio. To show the variety of tasks, a few examples include circuit design for new products with emphasis on EMC and ESD, acoustic design of new speakers and microphones, develop a new accessory to measure bone conduction vibration through the use of a sensor attached to the skin, etc. These offer an interesting opportunity to learn and apply new skills for an interested candidate.
Technical Knowledge - Required
- Analog and digital circuit design
- Circuit design for electrical safety, EMC and ESD
- Understanding of embedded systems
Technical Knowledge - Preferred
- Electroacoustic applications - transducers, analyzer/generator, amplifier, test systems
- Preparation and supervision of external lab tests in support of regulatory requirements
- Awareness of IEC electrical safety requirements and ISO Quality Systems
Personal Suitability
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Open to tackling a wide variety of challenges
Educational & Experience Requirements
- University Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 2-3 Years of Experience
