The Opportunity:

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Supply Chain Supervisor has end to end supply chain responsibility including Sourcing and Procurement, Material Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management and Vendor Performance. This position is the key contact between the commercial organization and operations. The incumbent will be responsible to ensure that the right materials are available and delivered in the right quantities and ready for use to ensure we optimize our sales and operations planning strategy.

 

What You'll Do (key responsibilities include but are not limited to):

  • Co-creates, develops and delivers the supply chain strategy for NFC.
  • Drives the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to support company goals, aligning the various supply chain plans while managing information that aligns with the NFC supply chain vision.
  • Develops the weekly production plan driven from the S&OP process including inventory levels of both finished goods and raw materials, manpower availability and sales forecasts.
  • Develops regular communication with Production, Commercial & Quality departments to ensure effective and timely material management in order to promote a stable planning platform.
  • Reviews logistic vendor performance against targets, benchmarks and service agreements.
  • Responsible for sourcing, executing purchase orders on key ingredients and ensuring spend is optimized. thru pricing analysis and vendor performance KPIs.
  • Define the set-up of the ingredient in ERP (Safety stock/Lead time);
  • Responsible for managing inventories and optimize inventory control procedures to ensure shrink and variances are minimized.
  • Manages the development and performance of the team through a culture of coaching, skills development and increased accountability.
  • Assures that all activities and operations are executed in line with the health and safety rules, regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Promotes awareness of a food safety culture and responds accordingly.

 

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience across multiple supply chain competencies: Procurement, Production, Logistics, Planning, Warehousing, Customer Services etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to drive vision / direction for supply management in the organization.
  • Well-developed computer skills (MS Office programs), database management and a strong mathematical aptitude
  • Results-oriented, and thrive in a fast paced, demanding environment;
  • Persuasive: able to inspire and lead change without formal authority;
  • Ability to quickly prioritize individual responsibilities and effectively manage time.

 

Must be able to commute to London/work at the plant Monday-Friday.
