Job Description
We are hiring a Forecasting, Sales and Operations Manager in our St. Thomas, ON location!
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain, this role interprets supply chain and other business metrics to determine opportunities for improvements to service, information, and cost. This position is responsible for directing the forecasting, analytics, and logistics team members. The goal of the position is the provide meaningful leadership in-line with our values that will continue to drive an innovative approach to handling key supply chain inputs.
Working closely with other supply chain teams, this role will build strategies and implement processes while ensuring the deployment into the standard work of the forecasting, analytics, and logistics teams. Working closely with the Purchasing, Planning, Sales and Finance teams, the Forecasting, Sales and Operations Manager is expected to drive a constant innovative focus to ensure ongoing excellence. This role will be a guiding voice to the team members and will provide support to the Sr Manager of Supply Chain.

What You Will Do:

Ownership of key forecasting accuracy metrics
-
?Identification of key areas of opportunity that will bring optimal results to the business
-
Develop and implement policies and procedures intended to continuously improve the teams’ systems and processes
-
Support S&OP activities through collaboration and structured activities with Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Operations teams
-
Coordinate and lead monthly executive S&OP updates
-
Work with the Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Finance teams to assist with the development and execution of budgets and forecasts
-
Maintain effective costs control to meet departmental budgets and workforce requirements
-
Execute departmental goals in the pursuit of excellence through a strong customer focus and innovative mentality and approach to work
-
Develop and implement processes and system to optimize forecast accuracy, inventory levels and customer order fill rates. This involves handling the forecast and understanding material flow to ship finished goods at a minimum fill rate attainment level of 96% while handling inventory levels to Masco Canada target levels.

Develop departmental goals and objectives for the analysts, forecasting and customs and transportation teams that align with the overall Masco Canada goals and objectives. In addition, transfer these departmental goals and objectives into attainable and measurable action plans for implementation within the teams.

Develop and evaluate staff and provide timely feedback on performance.

Problem resolution and identify areas for process improvement, cost and/or waste reduction

Lead and build meaningful supply chain and operational metrics for the business

Handle and build meaningful supply chain and operational tools for the business, including but not limited to

- Handle Engineering Change implementation timing and supply chain activities to ensure high levels of service and efficient inventory costs
Who You Are:
-
5-10 years of experience in an Analytics, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management roles with progressing levels of responsibility

APICS Certification highly desired
-
Proven excellence in analysis and decision-making
-
Above average digital literacy (Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), JD Edwards, Sequel/Viewpoint))
-
Self-starter and requiring little supervision
-
Good leadership and consensus building skills
-
Experience using JDE is an asset
-
Product knowledge is an asset
-
Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Confirmed leadership ability
-
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Community College Diploma or University Degree; preferably in Supply Chain Management or related field

Ability to prioritize efficiently and effectively
