Join Our Team as a Full-Time IT Systems Administrator in London, ON!

Your Mission:
As the IT Systems Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Convertus' hardware infrastructure operates reliably and efficiently across multiple facilities. You’ll manage critical systems, provide technical support, and collaborate on special projects to enhance our IT capabilities. This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a fast-paced environment, directly contributing to the success of our team and operations.

Here’s what an ordinary day of work might look like:
  • Managing and maintaining hardware infrastructure, including deploying, maintaining, and replacing servers.
  • Administering and supporting network devices to ensure seamless connectivity across facilities and with cloud resources.
  • Maintaining SCADA systems and supporting operational hardware for efficiency.
  • Developing a hardware renewal program in collaboration with vendors.
  • Supporting special IT projects, such as construction-related IT infrastructure and network setup.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving hardware issues on-site, addressing complex connectivity challenges.
  • Deploying and configuring user hardware for employees as needed.
  • Collaborating with teams on large-scale integrations of systems with existing IT infrastructure.
This job is for you if you:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in IT systems administration, focusing on hardware and network management.
  • Are proficient in server management, network device configuration, and SCADA systems.
  • Possess a CCNA certification (or are working toward it).
  • Excel at problem-solving, managing multiple priorities, and taking initiative.
  • Communicate effectively and enjoy working collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Are a self-starter capable of working independently without constant supervision.
  • Are flexible to travel to support on-site IT needs at different facilities.
Compensation package:
  • Annual Salary - $85K - $95K – based on experience and skills.
