Millwright | Weekend Days | Woodstock | $4 shift premium applies
As a Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of a team of friendly and hardworking people who perform a variety of maintenance services including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of various types and sizes of industrial manufacturing equipment.
Weekend Day Shift - 3x12 hour shifts - Friday to Sunday; $4/hour shift premium applies!

Job Description:
- General building maintenance including forklifts, lighting, doors, loading docks, plumbing, electrical repair and installations
- Maintenance and repair to CNC, Milling, Power Skiving, Heat Treat and other craned facility Manufacturing equipment
- Inspect and examine machinery to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts
- Enhance equipment performance by recommending improvements and implementing
- Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
- Works on equipment from drawings, written and / or verbal instruction
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Install, align, dismantle and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks and tractors to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery
Skills and Experience:
- Completion of an Industrial Mechanic / Millwright program recognized by the Ontario Colleges
- Licensed Industrial Mechanic / Millwright and/or Licensed Industrial Electrician
- G2 Gas Technician Certification is an asset
- Ability to make sound decisions with effective problem-solving skills
- Highly organized
- Positive attitude with the ability to interact effectively with all team members
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Possess trade tools and familiar with their use and application
