Production Associate

You will operate out of Dorchester at Audioscan which is one of our many global diagnostic brands. The other brands are placed in Denmark, UK, USA, and Germany. We sell our equipment in more than 100 countries through our own sales companies and external distributors.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Production Associate to join our team. This position will include a variety of typical production tasks from assembling parts to testing finished product to packaging, shipping, and receiving. This is a full-time position, operating on-site in Dorchester, Ontario. You will report to the Production Lead.

Specific Skills

  • Able to read work instructions, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
  • Testing of finished assemblies and products.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the electronics field.
  • Experienced in soldering small parts – micro soldering very desirable.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and eyesight as many assemblies include working with very small parts.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Intermediate level computer skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO13485 or ISO9000 Quality System is an asset.

Experience and qualities:

  • High School graduate.
  • Electronics training very desirable.
  • 2+ years in an electronics / small parts assembly environment very desirable.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Timely response, ability to align to production flow if required.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Should be able to lift 20kg.
  • Experience in medical device industry is an asset.
