Account Manager

Introduction

Reporting to the director of product commercialization you are responsible for ensuring the needs of Motif clients are consistently met. You will execute on client SKU’s from conception to commercialization and through replenishment orders. You will be the single point of contact between the brand and Motif, providing excellent customer service throughout the process. As the bridge between client and production staff, you hold a vital role in setting expectations with both the client and production staff.

Motif Labs is a licensed cannabis extraction facility located in SW Ontario. Motif has 3 top-selling internal brands BoxHot, Floresense and Debunk. As well as operating a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing serviced to Licensed Producers (LP’s) and 3rd Party Brands. Position Overview:

·        Serve as the main point of contact between external brands and Motif. Execute on SKU launches and ongoing SKU maintenance
·        Maintain sales forecast and schedule production demands with operations
·        Monitor market pricing and adjust as required to ensure competitive market positioning
·        Interact with clients on a weekly basis, ensuring their questions are being answered and solutions are presented for any challenges raised. Attend all client-related meetings as required (sales, marketing, production, finance, etc.)
·        Ensure new SKU’s are on schedule for launch and manage priorities both internally and externally.
·        Monitor all open orders and ensure team members are informed and aware of all ongoing client-related activities and their status. Communicate distillate forecasts to production team and evaluate formulation blending requirements.  
·        Work closely with the procurement team to ensure SKU inputs are ordered and on site
·        Execute on wholesale orders; ensuring the correct quantity, quality and potency product is being shipped to clients.
·        Ensure an accurate and timely flow of documentation between Motif and clients including quotes, PO’s, invoices, and AR/AP documentation.
·        Identify and communicate any potential client issues or concerns well in advance and working with the broader Motif team to ensure these are rectified before escalating.
·        Develop service procedures, policies and standards that drive all Motif customer-facing activities, including maintaining workflows and internal ERP systems to ensure the processes are automated and seamless.
·        Other duties as required
 
 Qualifications:
·        2-5 years in Consumer-Packaged Goods account management or related experience
·        Owns and drives progress and process improvements
·        Positive attitude with strong communication skills
·        Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
·        Experience within Cannabis industry is considered an asset
·        Experience in project management is considered an asset
·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

WORK CONDITIONS:
This is a hybrid role where you will be in the office a minimum 3 days per week, work from home the rest of the time. Motif provides all required PPE and has continued all safety protocols: a well-fitted mask must be worn in our production areas unless otherwise specified.
