Sr Manager, FP&A

 

Come Build Home with Us! We are Hiring a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis!

This position is responsible for the timely & accurate reporting and analysis of various financial data including development and maintenance of multiple pro forma P&L’s required by the Company management. 

 

What You Will Do!

You will provide leadership and coordination of Company financial analysis, costing and budget management functions while ensuring Company accounting procedures conform with both Canadian and U.S generally accepted accounting principles consistent with Masco Canada’s standards, processes and business objectives.

 

  • Assisting cross-functional partners in developing and executing strategy through financial planning & analysis processes
  • Lead financial processes for long-range planning and annual operating plan processes
  • Provide cross-functional partners with data and analysis to support and guide decision making
  • Support sales and product management teams in developing financial evaluation for business case recommendations
  • Driving operating discipline in tracking and analyzing monthly actual results vs forecast, risks and opportunities, gap closing processes
  • Financial analysis and insights of sales channels, including long- and short-term planning by channels and customers, pricing, and gross-to-net analysis
  • Supporting sales team in negotiations, competitive and statistical studies as required
  • Assists in building and managing business agreements with customers and sales agencies
  • Identify and champion process and systems improvements
  • Train business partners to develop their financial acumen and independently use financial tools
  • Lead projects and initiatives to enhance reporting, analytical, and business intelligence capabilities
  • Assist in financial presentations for senior management and multifunctional meetings
  • Collaborates with external customers to establish joint fiscal scorecards with shared metrics that produce mutually beneficial results
  • Develop and coach direct reports

 

What You Will Bring!

  • Thorough knowledge of finance, accounting, internal audit and budgeting principles including Canadian and US General Accepted Accounting Principals
  • Proficient use of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
  • Proficient understanding of business intelligence software (eg. Cognos)
  • Proven accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including potentially extended hours during month end reporting and other key times during the fiscal year
  • JD Edwards or similar ERP experience
  • Positive attitude, hands on personality, accustomed to a constantly changing environment.
  • The ideal candidate will have CPA designation with a minimum of 7 years of experience in a middle management level within a manufacturing environment

Hiring Range: $97,500.00 - $153,340.00
Actual compensation may vary based on various factors including experience, education, geographic location, and/or skills.
