HR Generalist Maternity LeaveCoverage

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and project management. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources management principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Manage the recruitment process
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the selection process to ensure the best fit for the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Oversee onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects, including organizing training sessions and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist in managing employee relations issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Utilize HR sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates for open positions.
  • Participate in JHSC
  • Responsible for all WSIB claims
  • Lead and maintain positive working relationship with regards to the Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Prepare and maintain job descriptions
  • Benefits administration
  • Enter and upload Payroll hours in ADP
  • Update all employee information in ADP
  • Managing time and attendance in ERP Plex system

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems such as ADP is preferred.
  • Excellent interviewing skills with a keen eye for identifying talent.
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
