Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, and project management. This position requires a strong understanding of human resources management principles and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Manage the recruitment process
- Conduct interviews and assist in the selection process to ensure the best fit for the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
- Oversee onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects, including organizing training sessions and employee engagement initiatives.
- Assist in managing employee relations issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Utilize HR sourcing techniques to identify potential candidates for open positions.
- Participate in JHSC
- Responsible for all WSIB claims
- Lead and maintain positive working relationship with regards to the Collective Bargaining Agreement
- Prepare and maintain job descriptions
- Benefits administration
- Enter and upload Payroll hours in ADP
- Update all employee information in ADP
- Managing time and attendance in ERP Plex system
Qualifications
- Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with HR software systems such as ADP is preferred.
- Excellent interviewing skills with a keen eye for identifying talent.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
