Job Description

Technical Sales Support Specialist

About the job

About the Opportunity

Aquatell is a rapidly growing e-commerce company specializing in residential and light commercial water treatment equipment across North America. Our business is built on technical accuracy, consultative guidance, and long-term customer trust.

We are expanding our team and are looking for a Technical Sales & Support Specialist to help customers select, purchase, and support residential water treatment systems in an online sales environment.

About the Role

This role blends technical advisory work, inside sales support, and customer service. You’ll work directly with homeowners to help them choose the right equipment, prepare quotes, follow up on sales opportunities, and provide post-sale technical support.

You’ll also contribute to improving internal documentation and systems that support Aquatell’s continued growth.

This is a fully remote role, supporting customers across North America and collaborating with a distributed team using cloud-based tools.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Advising customers on residential water treatment systems (softeners, filtration, UV, RO)
  • Preparing quotes and following up on sales opportunities
  • Supporting customers before and after purchase via phone, email, and chat
  • Assisting with troubleshooting, maintenance questions, and replacement parts
  • Interpreting water test results and explaining system implications
  • Using tools such as Shopify, Google Drive, and support platforms to manage customer interactions
  • Helping identify recurring questions and improving internal sales and support resources
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience working with residential water treatment equipment
  • Experience supporting customers in a technical or consultative sales environment
  • Strong understanding of water treatment systems and terminology
  • Comfort working in online systems and shared documentation tools
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
Nice to Have
  • Experience with well water and municipal water systems
  • Familiarity with water testing parameters (hardness, iron, chlorine/chloramine, TDS)
  • Plumbing, water treatment, or related technical background
  • Industry certifications (WQA, CWQA, or similar)
Why Join Aquatell
  • Technical, consultative role — not commission-only or high-pressure sales
  • Fully e-commerce based (no field work or installations)
  • Support for ongoing training and industry certifications
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company
