Inventory Control Analyst

We are seeking an experience Inventory Control Analyst to join and our team and work in our London, ON manufacturing facility.  This role will drive process improvement around inventory integrity throughout material movement and consumption using continuous inventory valuation, defined processes and effective problem solving.  Work cross functionally with other functions to drive the adoption of all Inventory Control Process and Material flow while looking at ways to optimize and improve efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Determine forecasts utilizing Production-Sales-Inventory (PSI) Process for After-Market-Parts-Service (AMPs) and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)

  • Owner of cycle count program and financial reporting, ensuring compliance to Danaher Accounting Policies

  • Maintain and create Material Control processes throughout Operations, ensuring continuity between both Industrial and Municipal businesses

  • Create statistic-based, templates and reports (ERP) for material control associates to use in the execution of their daily work enabling the monitoring of material supply against demand – exception processes

  • Create framework so overall material system can support customer LT expectations by product

  • Perform slow-moving analysis and execute obsolescence activities

  • Support Finance with month-end and year-end close-out activities

  • Support the Materials Manager with Problem-Solving-Process (PSP), improvement initiatives and mentoring/development of team

 

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Supply-Chain-Management, Operations Management, Business or Equivalent

  • Over 5-years of experience in Material Planning, Inventory Control or Financial Analysis

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems. 

  • Demonstrated working knowledge of inventory control principals, including KanBan and Cycle Counts

  • Process focused with continuous improvement and customer (user) mindset

  • Proficiency with Business Analytic Tools (Tableau or PowerBI) considered an asset

  • Knowledge of GAAP Inventory Control Principals considered an asset.
