Job Description
Various Assembly Positions
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 11:35 am
The Assembler
To put together the components required in the manufacture of finished products.
Emphasis is on the production of a quality product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assembly of components
- Ensure high quality of manufactured product confirming that proper materials are being used
- Ability to read and understand measurements, as well as use various measuring tools
- Ability to use a variety of pneumatic tools and equipment
- Perform routine care and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machines
- Prepare and maintaining work area in a safe condition
- Responsible for quality control of their own assembly process (insulation cutting and gluing, assembly, packaging)
- Spatial perception to understand and visualize relationships and arrangement of parts in products and in the assembly line process
- All other related duties or projects, as assigned
Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
- High attention to detail is essential with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast pace environment
- Manual dexterity, speed, accuracy, and hand-eye coordination is essential, work safety and efficiently in order to maximize production and minimize waste; activities involve fitting, attaching, gluing, cutting, and assembling
- Must be able to communicate, cooperate and work effectively with others to ensure efficient and smooth production-line operations
- Must be organized, proactive and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace
- Must be knowledgeable of proper safety standards and procedures and be proficient in the safe operation of machines and equipment
- Must be organized, proactive and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace
- Must be able to understand verbal or written instructions
- Must be versatile and be able to work in more than one area of the production process as requested
- Successful completion of references and background check
