Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Are you a master of the sewing machine? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality garments? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We're looking for an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our team and showcase your exceptional skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to sew fabric pieces together, following precise patterns and instructions.
  • Ensure that each stitch is perfect, maintaining consistent quality throughout the production process.
  • Perform regular maintenance on sewing machines to keep them in optimal working condition.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
  • Inspect finished garments for any defects or errors, making necessary adjustments to ensure top-notch quality.
  • Assist in cutting, trimming, and finishing fabric pieces as needed.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment, working closely with team members to achieve collective success.

What You'll Need:

Noteour facility operates with the Toyota Sewing System (TSS), which involves standing for all sewing operations and moving from machine to machine frequently. Applicants must be physically capable of working within this environment.

  • Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines, including a serger and single needle, with a strong understanding of different stitch types and techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that each garment meets our high standards of quality.
  • A passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to producing exceptional work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Good communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with team members and follow instructions.
  • Experience in the fashion industry or a similar field is preferred but not required.

What We Offer

Wages start at $19 an hour, with a standard work week of 40 hours. For highly experienced applicants, the wage will increase to reflect your capabilities. 

Benefit packages, including options for family coverage, are available after 3 months of employment.
