Marketing & Communications Coordinator
ntroduction
We are looking for a highly-motivated Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join the Marketing team. The successful candidate for this role will be a natural storyteller who loves being challenged, while ensuring that language is used as a tool to inspire and motivate. As a creative writer you will help with media relations, brand campaigns, website storytelling, be the voice of our blog, and help with launching new products. You will also work closely with the Sales team to develop marketing communications collateral, such as brochures and presentations.

Motif operates as a business-to-business enterprise, offering toll processing and contract manufacturing services to Licensed Producers (LP's) and 3rd Party Brands. Position Overview
· Research and write B2B and B2C content for a range of brand touchpoints, including web copy, product descriptions, email, social media, blogs, whitepapers and sales collateral
· Leverage SEO keyword research to brainstorm and optimize brand content
· Write and distribute accurate and compelling press releases about important Motif Labs news
· Identify, build, and maintain meaningful relationships with media partners to increase brand awareness for Motif Labs across all markets
· Share, track, and analyze marketing & communications campaign data and results on a consistent basis
· Take ownership of the Motif Labs content marketing strategy
· Manage multiple projects at once
· Manage French translation requests for relevant assigned projects
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Must Have’s
· 1-2 years of professional experience in communications, PR or marketing
· Strong communications skills
· Shows initiative and ownership of work and willingness to learn
· Strong time management skills including ability to multitask and prioritize
· Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe products
Nice to Have’s
· Working experience in the Canadian cannabis industry
· Experience in project management
· Photography or videography an asset
