Andriani Ltd. is a brand-new gluten-free healthy pasta manufacturer in London, Ontario, Canada. The processes involved—such as dough formulation, extrusion, drying, quality control, and equipment calibration—require specialized knowledge to ensure our production runs efficiently and consistently. We are seeking an individual with proven pasta manufacturing experience in our industry, specifically with Buhler production equipment. This role will play a key part in supporting the expansion and scaling of our operations across North America.

Job Description
Production Oversight:
• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of daily production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor workflow and adjust staffing or processes as necessary to address bottlenecks and meet production targets while minimizing downtime.
• Meeting or exceeding production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may affect production efficiency.
Team Management, Communication, and Training:
• Directly supervise and support production employees, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate production goals, address issues, and foster a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Ensure all production-related information is clearly communicated and documented.
• Demonstrate strong leadership by effectively managing the production team and facilitating communication between departments.
Quality and Compliance:
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet internal and regulatory quality standards.
• Ensure that production practices comply with food safety regulations and other relevant legislation.
• Implement corrective measures when deviations from quality standards are identified.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and participate in safety audits, ensuring that all production activities comply with internal and regulatory standards.
Process and Efficiency Improvements:
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to quickly address equipment issues, streamline production processes and ensure minimal disruption to production.
• Actively participate in process review meetings and contribute ideas for operational improvements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and technological advancements relevant to food manufacturing.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of production metrics, shift logs, and any incidents or deviations in production.
• Provide regular performance reports to the Production Manager, including recommendations for process or equipment improvements.

Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years in a production role within a pasta manufacturing environment, with 3 years of supervisory/managerial responsibilities.
- Minimum 2 years of SAP experience.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Buhler production lines is a must.
- Requires a solid understanding of pasta production processes, quality control standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Familiarity with production equipment and process control systems in pasta manufacturing facility, specifically experience with Buhler production systems.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse production team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes, operational excellence, production systems, and continuous improvement principles.
- Additional certifications or advanced education in manufacturing, engineering, operations management, or related disciplines are considered an asset.
