Associate Specialist, CFSS Technician
 

Position Description:

  • Liaise with Customer's Fleet Management Team in Ottawa
  • Monitor customer-owned material within the Canadian Forces Supply System  (CFSS)
  • Communicate with local DND Quality Assurance Reps, Government Property/Production Material Control teams regarding transactions, material availability/status
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide responses to support issues in a timely basis
  • Interface with the customer on Government repair/tasking items
  • Coordinate efforts to ensure the management of material in accordance with the Canadian Forces guidelines & ALM 184/SAM compliance
  • Coordinate with the Repair & Overhaul Account Coordinators/GP Administrators to ensure all parts are ordered, shipped, received and transacted in a timely manner
  • Support the coordination of information and documentation to Program & Leadership, ensuring timely and accurate inventory accounting
  • Process/retain all documentation related to the custody of material to support contractual customer audits

 

Position Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • University Degree or College Diploma in relevant discipline or 3-5 years’ experience in a Defense supportability related field
  • Must possess or able to obtain Secret Level II Security Clearance
    • Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office products, particularly in Excel
    • Demonstrated proficiency in MRP, ERP Enterprise systems, including Oracle

 

Required Qualifications:

  • DND CFSS DRIMIS experience
  • Understanding of contract administration and project management skills
  • Awareness of DND supply procedures, ALM 184
  • Advanced Level proficiency in MS Excel and Access
