McCormick Canada is currently looking to hire a Powered Lift Truck Technician to join our Maintenance team. This position is located at our Clarke Road location. 

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:

• Provide material handling repair and maintenance support to all Canada facilities
• Maintain and trouble shoot plant material handling equipment and machinery
• Carry out Preventative Maintenance on material handling equipment as required, recording all information.
• Provide work description and information to the work order system
• Operate workshop equipment such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, saws, hand tools, welders
• Communicate verbally and in writing to internal customers and coordinate vehicle service to ensure optimal customer service
• Contribute to the overall performance of the Maintenance Department to meet customer satisfaction
• Ability to work all shifts (including weekends)

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Powered Lift Truck Technician License or Forklift Mechanic Diploma is preferred
• Combination of 5 years forklift mechanic experience, or Millwright experience with hydraulics
• Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical work
