About Us
At Booch Kombucha, we're passionate about crafting raw, organic, probiotic-rich kombucha with real fruit, no artificial flavors, and genuinely good-for-you refreshment. We’re a local Canadian brewery committed to traditional fermentation and vibrant flavor— and we’re seeking a Production Associate to help bring that warmth and quality from batch to bottle to customer.
Position Overview
As a Production Associate, you’ll be deeply involved in the brewing process and hands-on with making our kombucha the best it can be.
Key Responsibilities
- Brew Kombucha: Follow precise fermentation protocols to create consistent, flavorful batches.
- Filter: Process fermented kombucha for clarity and quality before packaging.
- Recipe Execution: Measure ingredients (tea, sugar, flavorings), steep, and brew according to established recipes to deliver our signature taste.
- Production Line Work: Operate canning and bottling line equipment, ensuring tight seals, proper fill, and streamlined throughput.
- Brew Equipment Handling: Work confidently with pumps, hoses, clamps, and other fermentation and transfer apparatus.
- Lift & Move: Handle product, raw materials, or equipment packages of at least 25 lbs, using safe lifting and stacking techniques.
- Use Pallet Jacks: Safely load, unload, and move pallets as needed to support production and storage.
Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with brewing or beverage production preferred, but not strictly required—enthusiasm and willingness to learn go a long way.
- Physical readiness to stand, lift, and move throughout the shift. Must safely lift at least 25 lbs and operate pallet jacks.
- Attention to detail – clean, consistent, and quality-driven execution of recipes and production processes.
- Team spirit & initiative – production is a collaborative effort; your reliability and proactivity help everyone succeed.
- Safety-first mindset – handling food/beverage equipment demands diligence, care, and organized operations.
What We Offer
- Contribute to a local, growing brand rooted in healthy living and sustainable practices.
- Join a hands-on, engaging workplace, where each batch you touch is enjoyed by customers seeking great taste and benefits.
- Be part of a team that values probiotic, organic ingredients and strives for beverages that are fun, approachable, and wellness-driven.
