The Position: Performs routine and non-routine Quality Control (QC) sampling & testing in support of manufacturing sterile solutions using aseptic techniques.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Execute in-process, raw material, and finished product sampling as per SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Verify sample integrity, labeling, and traceability from warehouse through lab analysis
- Support incoming goods inspection and quarantine release of materials
- Operate equipment and instruments including, but not limited to: pH meters, conductivity meters, vacuum chambers, and air samplers.
- Calibrate and maintain equipment in accordance with scheduled programs and SOPs.
- Log maintenance and calibration activities per GMP requirements.
- Conduct and document routine environmental and personnel monitoring in aseptic areas.
- Complete packaging deviation inspections.
- Support deviation investigations and CAPAs involving QC test failures.
- Participate in internal and external audits as needed.
- Adhere to GMP and ISO 13485 standards, including data integrity and proper chain-of-custody procedures
- Manage documentation related to quality control, including SOPs, test methods, and quality records
- Ensure communication is effective and informative regarding issues which may affect the quality of service or products.
- Participate in special projects as required.
As an ideal candidate you have:
- College diploma in Health Sciences scientific or quality-related discipline
- One (1) to three (3) years of laboratory or sterile manufacturing experience.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed protocols precisely.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic techniques and environmental monitoring an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual both written and oral is an asset.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs (23kg).
- Available for rotating shifts, weekend work, as business needs require.
- Ability to communicate and handle quality and regulatory issues.
- Production environment with cleanroom access.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions.
- Will requires routine use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Will be compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours, with additional working hours as required to meet ongoing business demands and to fulfill job responsibilities.
- Will be overtime eligible with manager pre-approval.
