Robot Programmer/Set Up

Looking for a dynamic Robot Programmer/Set Up to join our team in Dorchester, Ontario!

Responsibilities
The duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to:
• Program and setup ABB Robotic Mill
• Use Mastercam software for offline programming
• Use Solidworks software regularly to read and interpret blueprints and CAD data
• Attention to detail and takes pride in doing quality work
• Program and setup Motoman Robotic Waterjet
• Continually learning to become proficient with Armatec product knowledge
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with the team leader
• Train co-workers as required
• Wear the appropriate personal protective equipment as required by the company

Skills
• 3-5 years related experience
• Intermediate or advanced Mastercam knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of Octupuz simulation software a plus
• Knowledge of required measuring instruments and gauges
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and CAD data
• Strategic thinking and good troubleshooting skills
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and tidy workmanship required
• Ability to anticipate needs and work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in a professional manner with internal and
external stakeholders
• Computer literacy, including effective working skills of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to pass a Security Clearance process
• Comply with the Company Health & Safety rules and regulations in accordance with the Act
