CNC Machine Operator (Afternoon Shift)

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

• AFTERNOONS: 4 afternoons, 10 hours per shift from Monday to Thursday (3:30pm - 1:30am)

What you will do:

• Set up and operate various CNC machines

• Read and edit programs on CNC equipment with various controllers

• Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues

• Fill out production sheets, tags, and Shoplogix

• Produce products to the rates and standards as set out in the Work Order

• Follow accurate setup instructions and procedures

• Read and interpret production blueprints

• Use appropriate gauges in order to produce products to quality standards

• Report quality and/or tooling issues

• Perform minor repairs on equipment

• Rotation through various work cells and shifts

Who you are:

• Ability to read blueprints

• Ability to read and follow job packages, WO,  and work instructions

• Ability to use JDE system (Work orders for products)

• Ability to read Bill of Materials

• Ability to use various measuring devices

• Knowledge of all quality related requirements for inspection

• Basic math skills are required

• Proven understanding and experience with computers

• Technical background and general knowledge of machines

• Knowledge and ability to do tool grinding

• Successful completion of all applicable pre-employment testing

• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

• O.S.S.D or equivalent

• Successful completion of all tests related to the position

• Follows all company policies and procedures

• Performs other tasks as assigned by management
