About the Role

As a Project Manager, Quality you will ensure project quality milestones are met on time while coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve key KPIs. Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, you’ll act as a liaison between QA and departments like Production, Engineering, and Logistics. Your role involves driving alignment, supporting decision-making, and managing quality initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a flex hybrid work structure, where employees can work both remotely and on-site at our St. Thomas location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead quality-focused projects across the lithium battery production lifecycle, from raw material inspection to final product validation and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop and implement quality plans, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies across the plant.
  • Lead cross-functional teams—including Operations, Program Management, Engineering, and Suppliers—in defining, planning, and achieving key Quality KPIs.
  • Monitor project performance using KPIs and quality metrics and providing frequently status updates to upper management.
  • Mentor quality engineers and technicians in statistical tools and quality methodologies.
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives and support Lean/Six Sigma projects.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001, VDA, IATF, QMS, ... etc.).

What you bring to the Team

  • Bachelors degree in a related field (Electronic, Manufacturing, Chemical etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma, Shainin RedX).
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in quality tools (e.g., FMEA, SPC, Pareto Analysis, Fishbone Diagram).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Excel).
  • Experience with audit processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Master's degree an asset.
  • 1-3 years in a Leadership role an asset.
  • PMP certification an asset.
  • Experience with automated inspection systems and advanced analytics
  • Experience working with international suppliers and customers
