The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the receiving and processing of incoming raw materials and finished goods, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and maintaining organized inventory in the warehouse.

Here are some of the different activities you’ll be asked to do:

  • Load trucks with outgoing materials and/or finished goods; ensure the shipping transactions are accurately updated in SAP.
  • Unload, receive and store materials and/or finished goods; ensure the receiving transactions are accurately updated in SAP.
  • Prepare outgoing transfer/shipping documentation. Receive, verify, and forward paperwork for incoming shipments.
  • Accurately pick and/or pack orders according to customer needs and delivery lists.
  • Perform regular row audits and ensure incoming stock is rotated (first in first out).
  • Monitor current inventory and advise Leader of any slow moving or unusual quantities on hand.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure they are not damaged and adjust inventory accordingly.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, inventory space and workstations tidy.

  • 1-2 years previous warehouse/forklift experience
